Assoro Holds Third Premio Pantano for Sustainable Start‑Ups
On 26 July the municipality of Assoro, together with the CNA, hosted the third edition of the Premio Pantano for innovative and sustainable start‑ups. The award ceremony took place in the town council chamber and recognized Holus Mediterranea of Siracusa as the winner, beating Capizzuni (Trapani), BM Attrazione Investimenti (Troina) and Eschoo (Favara). All four companies also received consultancy service awards from Integra, presented by its president Michele Calandra. Mayor Antonio Licciardo said the prize, named after former minister Edoardo Pantano, supports the town’s promotion as “Borgo dello Zolfo” and encourages new entrepreneurial ventures. The event also handed out plaques to local firms and honoured distinguished citizens with honorary citizenships.
