ASST Brianza receives shockwave therapy machine donation

The association Cancro Primo Aiuto has donated a new shockwave therapy machine to ASST Brianza to enhance patient rehabilitation. The device will be used at the Vimercate Hospital to treat osteomuscular pathologies and improve the quality of life for patients during and after medical treatments.

During a ceremony held on October 26, ASST Brianza Director General Carlo Alberto Tersalvi presented a plaque of recognition to Flavio Ferrari, CEO of Cancro Primo Aiuto, acknowledging the long-standing support provided by the association.

In addition to the equipment donation, ASST Brianza, Cancro Primo Aiuto, and the University of Milan are working toward a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement aims to launch a scientific research project focused on the role of physical activity for women affected by breast cancer.
