Asst Lariana launches digital service for pain therapy patients

Asst Lariana has launched a new digital service for patients undergoing pain therapy. The 'Sportello Digitale della Terapia del Dolore' is designed to streamline non-urgent communication between medical staff and patients following visits or procedures.

Patients can access the service via a QR code found on their outpatient reports by entering their Patient PID code. The system directs requests to the appropriate medical, nursing, or administrative personnel, aiming to improve traceability and reduce reliance on telephone channels. Dr. Carlo Francesco Biundo, head of pain therapy, noted that the tool was developed in collaboration with information systems to ensure more organized and effective patient care.
