Asst Lariana simplifies medical access for exempt patients
Asst Lariana has implemented new procedures to simplify access to medical visits and exams across its facilities, including hospitals and community clinics. Starting October 10, patients who have already paid their medical ticket or hold a valid exemption are no longer required to queue at the Cup desk. Instead, they may proceed directly to the designated waiting room or clinic and check in with the medical staff.
This initiative, aligned with Lombardy Region guidelines, aims to reduce waiting times and improve the patient experience. In the coming months, the organization plans to further streamline the process by installing self-check-in systems at major access points and waiting areas.
Additionally, the organization is conducting community health initiatives, such as a free amblyopia screening for children aged 10 to 22 months held at the Menaggio Family Clinic on October 10.
