ASSUFRGS union holds assembly to discuss 2026 elections and worker demands

The ASSUFRGS union held a General Assembly to discuss the 2026 elections and draft a ‘Charter of Commitment’ for candidates. This document outlines the priority demands of Technical-Administrative Employees (TAEs). Candidates who support these demands by September 25 will have their names promoted on the union’s platforms.

The assembly also addressed the Recognition of Knowledge and Skills (RSC). Reports indicated that at UFCSPA, 30 out of 80 RSC requests have been approved, while at UFRGS, over 950 requests were approved out of 1,200. The union is also working to ensure documentation is processed for staff who have served in union leadership roles.
