Assumption of Mary celebrated with religious events in Bussana Mare

The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is observed on August 15, a major Marian celebration in Christianity marking the belief that Mary was taken into heaven in both body and soul.

In Bussana Mare, the Renewal in the Holy Spirit groups of the Diocese of Ventimiglia-Sanremo are organizing a religious event to reconnect the summer holiday of Ferragosto with its spiritual roots. The program includes the recitation of the Holy Rosary at the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Annunziata, followed by a Mass on the beach presided over by Don Marco Palermo. The evening will also feature Eucharistic Adoration and musical performances by the Happy Chorus RnS.
