ASTA Energy Solutions and FUCHS Petrolub adjust financial forecasts

ASTA Energy Solutions AG has raised its EBITDA target for 2026 to a range of 60 to 64 million euros, up from a previous projection of 55 to 59 million euros. The company attributes this adjustment to robust demand within the energy sector and its role as a supplier for critical energy infrastructure. This growth is supported by a recent long-term contract signed with the technology group ANDRITZ.

Separately, FUCHS Petrolub has increased its EBIT forecast for 2026 to between 460 and 480 million euros following a strong first half of the year. However, analyst Dr. Robert Sasse has raised questions regarding the sustainability of these earnings. Sasse suggests that the results may be influenced by temporary factors, such as supply bottlenecks among competitors and pull-forward effects, rather than purely organic growth. He also noted potential risks involving raw materials, US trade policy, and a fire at a joint venture in Saudi Arabia.
