Aster DM and Advent International eye Yatharth Hospitals stake

Advent International and Blackstone-backed Aster DM Quality Care are reportedly in discussions to acquire a controlling stake in Yatharth Hospitals and Trauma Care Services. Yatharth is a listed specialty hospital chain focused on North India.

Due diligence for the potential deal is reportedly in its final stages. If a transaction is finalized, it could trigger a mandatory open offer for an additional 26% stake, potentially giving the acquirer more than 75% ownership of the company.

Yatharth has denied involvement in any sale discussions, and Blackstone has also dismissed reports of interest, stating it is not evaluating the asset. Aster DM has not responded to requests for comment.
