Asteristic Game Studio announces Toada Brava RPG

Asteristic Game Studio has announced Toada Brava, a hand-drawn 2D turn-based RPG currently in development for PC via Steam. The game is inspired by classic JRPGs such as Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG.

Set in a fantasy world influenced by Latin American geography and culture, the story follows a protagonist named Kako. After his mother, Matilda, is imprisoned by the Duke of Santacrúz following a dispute over gold mining lands, Kako must escape the Santacrúz Dungeon and assemble a team of allies to aid a revolution and uncover the Duke’s supernatural powers.

The gameplay features turn-based combat with timing mechanics and musical-themed magic abilities. A playable demo is currently available on Steam.
