Asti Shizuoka announces facility renewal and special lunch event

Asti Shizuoka, a commercial facility at JR Shizuoka Station, is undergoing significant updates and hosting special events. On November 16, 2026, the facility will host the ‘BIKKURI LUNCH 2026’ event at the HUB Asti Shizuoka location. Organized by the Waguri Council, the event features a lunch session including Waguri (Japanese chestnut) rice bento from Tokai-ken Co., Ltd. and drinks from HUB. The event aims to connect producers and consumers while discussing the future of forestry and primary industries, with appearances by players from the professional volleyball team Toray Arrows Shizuoka.

Additionally, JR Tokai Shizuoka Development Co., Ltd. announced a second renewal for Asti Shizuoka scheduled for November 18, 2026. This phase includes the opening of three new stores: the confectionery brand Gozaiso, the dessert specialist Jiichiro, and the eyewear retailer OWNDAYS (the latter scheduled for early February 2027). One existing store will also undergo renovation to enhance the facility's appeal.
