Aston Martin and Brough Superior unveil AMB 002 street-legal motorcycle

Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, the first street-legal motorcycle resulting from their partnership. Unlike their previous track-only models, the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, this new model is fully homologated for public roads, featuring necessary components such as lights, mirrors, and a license plate mount.

The motorcycle is powered by a newly developed 1,083cc water-cooled V-twin engine producing 130hp and 110Nm of torque. It features a lightweight 5kg titanium backbone frame and carbon fiber bodywork, contributing to a total weight of 190kg and an ideal 50:50 weight distribution. The front suspension utilizes Brough Superior’s specialized double-wishbone ‘Fior fork’ system, designed to separate steering and braking forces for enhanced stability.

Design elements are heavily inspired by Aston Martin’s hypercars, including rear light blades similar to the Valkyrie and exhaust finishes reminiscent of the Vanquish and DBX S. The AMB 002 will be produced in a limited run of only 300 units, with hand-assembly taking place at the Brough Superior facility in Toulouse, France. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
