Aston Martin debuts DB12 S performance model in Taiwan

Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 S in Taiwan, marking a significant expansion of its performance lineup in the region. The vehicle is available in both Coupe and Volante (convertible) configurations. It is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 700 PS and 800 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.4 to 3.5 seconds.

The DB12 S features several performance upgrades, including a redesigned electronic throttle control, an improved Launch Control system, and an 8-speed automatic transmission capable of gear changes in 120 milliseconds. The chassis has been enhanced with a Bilstein DTX active suspension system, a reinforced anti-roll bar, and carbon-ceramic brakes to reduce unsprung weight.

Alongside the DB12 S, Aston Martin also showcased the Vantage S and the DBX S performance SUV. The launch event also highlighted a collaboration with Breitling, featuring a special edition timepiece inspired by the classic DB5.
