Aston Martin unveils DBX GT luxury SUV

Aston Martin has introduced the DBX GT, a new variant of its luxury V8 SUV designed to prioritize comfort and sophisticated long-distance travel over the aggressive sportiness of the DBX S model.

While the mechanical specifications remain unchanged—featuring a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 727 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque—the vehicle undergoes significant refinements in ride quality and acoustics. The suspension has been recalibrated with valve mechanisms to better filter road irregularities, and the gearbox features new calibration for smoother gear shifts, particularly at low speeds.

The exterior adopts a more understated aesthetic, replacing aggressive black details with matte chrome elements and a more discreet grille design. Inside, the cabin has been enhanced with improved sound insulation in the doors, wheel arches, and trunk, alongside acoustic laminated glass. These updates reportedly improve in-cabin conversation clarity by 13%. The interior also features optimized seating with memory foam and high-end materials like semi-aniline leather.
