Aston Martin Vantage RS undergoes Nürburgring testing

Aston Martin is conducting high-speed testing at the Nürburgring for a high-performance variant of the Vantage, potentially named the Vantage RS. Spy photos and technical details suggest the model will feature significant aerodynamic and mechanical upgrades to enhance track performance.

Key design changes include a redesigned front grille, a more pronounced splitter with lateral fins, and a prominent swan-neck rear wing designed to increase downforce. The exhaust system is expected to transition to a centralized four-pipe layout exiting through the rear diffuser.

Under the hood, the vehicle is likely to utilize a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, with power outputs expected to exceed the 680 CV found in the Vantage S, potentially approaching 700 CV. The transmission may feature modified ZF software to allow for more precise power management during extreme performance driving.
