Aston Villa extends Betano partnership and clarifies ownership structure

Aston Villa FC and Kaizen Gaming, the parent company of the sports betting brand Betano, have announced a three-year extension of their partnership. Under the new agreement, Betano will remain an official partner of the club until the end of the 2028/29 season, with its logo appearing on the left sleeve of the club's official jerseys.

The partnership follows a period of significant growth for the club, including participation in the UEFA Europa League and the Champions League. Previous collaborative initiatives have included supporting community organizations such as the Acorns children's hospital and the Aston Villa Foundation.

Separately, the club has clarified its ownership structure following investment from Atairos. Aston Villa is owned by V Sports, a holding company jointly controlled by Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens. Atairos has entered as a minority partner within V Sports, while V Sports maintains 100% ownership and full control over all club decisions.
