Nicolas Jackson attracts interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has become a central figure in the summer transfer market following a successful loan spell at Bayern Munich, where he scored 11 goals and helped the club win the Bundesliga.

Multiple Premier League clubs are competing for the 25-year-old Senegalese forward. Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in a head-to-head battle for his signature. Villa is viewing Jackson as a potential replacement for Ollie Watkins, who is linked with a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. Tottenham is also interested in strengthening their attack under manager Roberto De Zerbi.

While Atletico Madrid has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Jackson for a loan move, Chelsea is resisting loan arrangements and is instead seeking a permanent sale. The club has set a valuation of approximately £65 million for the player. Jackson remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2033, but he is reportedly not in the immediate plans of new head coach Xabi Alonso.
