Former Juventus goalkeeper Dino Zoff said the club would benefit from signing Aston Villa's Argentine keeper Emiliano Martinez, whose contract runs until 2029. Zoff told Tuttosport, "At Juve, the result counts and players are free to do what they want on the pitch as long as they contribute to the cause," adding that eccentricity does not matter if the goalkeeper saves goals.

Leeds United are also monitoring the market, reportedly gathering information on Japan international Zion Suzuki, who impressed at the World Cup while playing for Parma. Aston Villa sent a scout to watch Suzuki, indicating the club is exploring alternatives should Martinez depart. Both clubs are weighing options ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
