Aston Villa pursues Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson in summer transfer

Aston Villa have entered advanced negotiations with Chelsea for Senegal international forward Nicolas Jackson. The club is in "constant contact" with Chelsea, with reports that Villa are willing to meet Chelsea's valuation of roughly £60‑£65 million for the 25‑year‑old striker.

Villa’s interest follows recent squad changes, including the departures of Morgan Rogers, Youri Tielemans and Donyell Malen, and a recent boost to their transfer budget. The club has already signed Joao Gomes and Johan Manzambi and secured Alejandro Garnacho on loan, while also targeting other attackers such as AC Milan’s Rafael Leão. Chelsea, meanwhile, appear ready to offload Jackson after his loan stint at Bayern Munich, and view him as a high‑value asset.

If the deal materialises before the close of the summer window, it would be one of the most expensive transfers involving the two clubs this season and would strengthen Villa’s attack ahead of their Champions League campaign.
