Aston Villa sees developments in senior and youth squads

Aston Villa is seeing developments across both its senior and youth ranks. Defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis, on loan from Manchester City, is positioned to seek more playing time through the upcoming EFL Cup campaign. Having not yet made a competitive debut for the club, the 21-year-old centre-back may use the domestic cup as a platform to prove his ability to manager Unai Emery amidst a competitive defensive squad.

In the youth setup, 16-year-old goalkeeper Adheesh Vinod has joined Aston Villa’s Foundation Programme after a successful trial. The Chennai-born player’s entry into the Premier League club’s development structure represents a significant milestone for Indian football prospects seeking pathways into European academies.
