Aston Villa Targets Bologna Winger Jonathan Rowe in €40‑45m Transfer Push

Premier League club Aston Villa have identified 23‑year‑old Jonathan Rowe of Bologna as a primary summer target. The English side are reportedly prepared to meet Bologna’s asking price of €40‑45 million for the winger, who is under contract until June 2029. Rowe impressed during the 2025/26 season, recording eight goals and five assists in 40 appearances, including four goals in the UEFA Europa League, and ranking among the top five percent of wide players in Serie A for successful dribbles per 90 minutes.

Villa hope their Champions League qualification will give them leverage in negotiations, while Bologna, having missed out on European spots, aim to maximise profit from the deal.
