Aston Villa targets Kevin Viveros in potential transfer move

Aston Villa is reportedly exploring a transfer for Athletico Paranaense striker Kevin Viveros. Following the departures of Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers, the club has sought to bolster its attacking options, recently signing Nicolas Jackson.

Reports indicate that Villa is considering a proposal worth approximately €20 million (£17.4 million to £18 million) for the 26-year-old Colombian international. Viveros has demonstrated significant form in Brazil, recording 19 to 20 goals and several assists this season. While Villa is evaluating the deal, Athletico Paranaense is believed to value the player closer to €30 million (£26 million).

A potential move could materialize during the January transfer window, as the Brazilian season concludes. Viveros faces competition for a signature from clubs in Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Sunderland.
