Astorga to install video surveillance in industrial park

The Astorga City Council has announced a project to install a new video surveillance system within its industrial park. The initiative aims to strengthen security and improve control over access points and key areas of the site.

The project has a tender budget of 56,750.89 euros, including VAT. It is part of a broader modernization effort for the industrial area, funded through aid programs from the León Provincial Council. The system will consist of ten CCTV IP cameras distributed across three functional zones to monitor entrances, roads, and intersections.

In addition to the cameras, the project includes the necessary fiber optic infrastructure to transmit images to a centralized management and recording point. The City Council stated that this investment is part of a strategy to modernize infrastructure and services to better support existing businesses and attract new investment.
