Astorya Flying Theater expands film selection in Samsun

Astorya, a Flying Theater project established by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, continues to attract significant visitor numbers in Samsun, Turkey. As a first for the country, the facility offers an immersive cinematic experience using dome screens, dynamic platform systems, and sensory effects such as wind, scent, and fog.

Due to high demand, the venue has expanded its film selection. In addition to existing titles like ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, ‘Kurtuluş 1919’, and ‘Star Wars’, two new films, ‘Operasyon Gökbörü’ and ‘Aladdin’, have been added to the lineup. The facility, located in Istiklal Square, also includes a gift shop and a cafe, serving as a growing tourism attraction for both local residents and visitors from neighboring provinces.
