Astra Honda Motor expands road safety education initiatives in Indonesia
PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) and its subsidiaries are conducting extensive road safety education initiatives across Indonesia. Throughout September 2026, AHM engaged over 4,600 students from 29 universities through the “Secangkir Kopi, Sejuta Mimpi” seminar series. These interactive sessions, held in collaboration with the Indonesian National Police, aim to integrate safety riding into the lifestyle of young people by teaching them to predict road hazards and use proper riding gear.
In Yogyakarta, Astra Motor Yogyakarta organized a bootcamp for the “Cari Aman Academy” to train School Safety Riding Advisors. Approximately 30 students and three teachers from local vocational schools participated in competency tests involving riding skills, simulators, and safety presentations to prepare for national-level selection.
Additionally, Astra Motor has expanded its community development efforts in West Lombok by establishing a “Safety Riding for Kids” education area at TK/PAUD Rinjani. This initiative focuses on teaching basic traffic ethics and safety principles to early childhood students through interactive play-based methods, alongside providing school facility improvements.
