Astra Motor Sulawesi Selatan expands technical training and vocational programs

Astra Motor Sulawesi Selatan (Asmo Sulsel) is implementing several initiatives to enhance technical expertise and vocational readiness within the motorcycle industry.

The company recently conducted the fifth batch of Technical Training Level 2 (TTL 2) in the Palopo region. This program aims to standardize and improve the technical skills of mechanics across the Honda AHASS official workshop network, covering South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and Ambon. The training focuses on complex repairs and performance troubleshooting to ensure consistent service quality.

Additionally, Asmo Sulsel is developing the Astra Motor School, an industrial class program designed to prepare vocational high school (SMK) students for the workforce. By integrating school curricula with industry standards, the program provides students—specifically those in motorcycle engineering majors—with practical experience within the AHASS network. One of the participating institutions is SMKN 1 Rangas in West Sulawesi, where the partnership has been active since 2025.
