Astral Ascent receives update and Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Hibernian Workshop has released a major update for the platformer roguelite Astral Ascent, which includes a collaboration with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This free update introduces several new elements, including six new summons, three iconic bosses—Golgra, The Mime, and Pétank—and three new rooms: Lumière, The Gestral Village, and The Campfire.

Additionally, a special Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Astral Ascent has launched. This version is a free update for existing owners and features technical enhancements such as 120fps support and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) in both docked and handheld modes. It is noted as the first non-Nintendo game to support VRR on the platform.
