ASTRE Party to host political renewal summit in N’Djamena

The Chadian Socialist Action Party for Renewal (ASTRE) has announced the launch of the ‘Campus du Renouveau politique’, an event scheduled to take place in N’Djamena from September 17 to 19, 2026.

The initiative aims to redefine political engagement in Chad and across Africa by fostering dialogue among political actors, academics, civil society, women, and youth. Key discussion themes include the role of political parties in Chadian governance, the positioning of ASTRE within the African political landscape, historical reparations, and Chadian diplomacy within the context of African politics.

The event is intended to serve as a space for capacity building and the emergence of new public action approaches. International participation is expected, including a delegation from the Congress for Pan-African Justice and Equality of Peoples (COJEP), led by its president, Charles Blé Goudé.
