Astronomical observation events scheduled for September 19 in Spain

Various astronomical observation events are scheduled for Saturday, September 19, in different Spanish locations.

In Alcalá de Henares, the Agrupación Astronómica Complutense will participate in the NASA-led International Observe the Moon Night. Starting at 21:00 at the Recinto Ferial, the event offers free access to telescopes, educational talks, and workshops focused on lunar science and exploration history.

In the Bailén municipality, the Burguillos recreational area will host a free astronomical session titled ‘Cielo nocturno en Burguillos’ beginning at 21:30. Organized by the Department of the Environment, the activity aims to teach participants how to identify constellations and planets in a low-light environment at Monte Público and the Dehesa de Burguillos. Pre-registration via email is required for this event.
