Asturian leaders travel to South America for diaspora congress

Political leaders from the Principality of Asturias are traveling to South America to participate in the V World Congress of Asturianía, held in Buenos Aires. The event aims to strengthen ties with the Asturian diaspora and foster cultural and economic collaboration between the region and its emigrant communities.

Adrián Barbón, President of Asturias, will visit Argentina and Uruguay to engage with the diaspora and explore bilateral cooperation opportunities. Meanwhile, Álvaro Queipo, President of the Asturian People's Party, will travel to Chile before arriving in Buenos Aires. Queipo's itinerary in Chile includes visiting the Asturian Bowling School and meeting with local business leaders and community representatives in Santiago and San Fernando.
