ASUS and MSI Release New 27‑inch 4K OLED Monitors for Professionals

ASUS has begun selling the ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV, a 27‑inch monitor built around a Samsung QD‑OLED panel with 4K resolution, 120 Hz refresh, 1,000 nit peak brightness and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. It covers 100 % of sRGB and 99 % of DCI‑P3, carries a Calman Verified factory calibration, and includes a USB‑C port with 96 W Power Delivery, an integrated KVM switch and macOS‑specific color modes. Priced at US$699, the monitor is currently available in the United States.

MSI announced the PRO MAX OLED 271UPJW12, also a 27‑inch 4K OLED panel but using an ink‑jet‑printed (IJP) technology and an RGB‑stripe sub‑pixel layout. It delivers 120 Hz refresh, 99 % DCI‑P3 coverage, Delta E ≤ 2 accuracy, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. The unit features MSI’s OLED Auto‑Care system for continuous image‑retention mitigation, a 3H anti‑glare coating, TÜV‑certified low‑blue‑light and flicker‑free eye‑care, an integrated KVM switch, picture‑in‑picture/picture‑by‑picture modes, and USB‑C connectivity with 15 W Power Delivery, all on an ergonomic stand.
