ASUS launches ExpertBook Ultra with WebComm Zero Trust PC in Thailand

ASUS Thailand unveiled the ExpertBook Ultra at a launch event in Bangkok on June 23‑24, 2026, partnering with cybersecurity firm WebComm Technology to introduce Thailand’s first integrated “Zero Trust PC.” The laptop combines ASUS’s AI‑enabled hardware with WebComm’s OETH passwordless authentication platform and OETHenticator AI fingerprint authenticator, delivering continuous identity verification under a Zero Trust framework.

The device is lightweight (0.99 kg), MIL‑STD‑810H‑rated for durability, and equipped with Intel Core Ultra CPUs, up to 64 GB RAM, and a 14‑inch 3K OLED display. Security features include FIDO‑based passwordless login, multi‑factor authentication, dual BIOS, and full‑disk encryption. At the event, Charles Liu, Director of ASUS Thailand, said, “By combining the ASUS Business PC series with WebComm’s OETH passwordless authentication, we are helping organizations strengthen cybersecurity through Zero Trust.” Jay Chen, General Manager of WebComm, added that the collaboration “accelerates Zero Trust adoption across industries.”

Thai government agencies such as the National Cyber Security Agency, Digital Government Development Agency, and Electronic Transactions Development Agency are supporting the initiative, while the Bank of Thailand is updating authentication requirements for digital financial services. In Indonesia, ASUS announced a locally assembled ExpertBook line featuring offline AI processing via an on‑device NPU and layered firmware and BIOS security, targeting professionals who need high productivity without cloud connectivity.
