ASUS extends standard laptop warranty to two years for all consumer models

ASUS announced that, effective 1 August 2026, every laptop in its consumer portfolio will carry a two‑year standard factory warranty. The policy applies to the Zenbook, Vivobook, ProArt and TUF Gaming lines, matching the coverage already offered to the Republic of Gamers (ROG) range. The company cites its use of military‑grade durability testing (MIL‑STD 810H) and a strong position in the "Failing the Fix" reparability report as reasons for the extension, emphasizing durability and environmental sustainability.

Customers will also have access to ASUS support tools such as the MyASUS app, Perfect Warranty for accidental damage during the first year, and the Pick & Fix service for at‑home repairs. The announcement was reported in Colombia and Chile, indicating regional rollout of the new warranty terms.
