ASUS launches AI creator laptops, handheld gaming device and OLED monitors at Computex 2026

At Computex 2026 in Taipei, ASUS and its Republic of Gamers (ROG) division unveiled a broad portfolio of new products covering creator laptops, consumer notebooks, gaming hardware and high‑refresh OLED displays.

Key creator devices include the ProArt P14 and P16 laptops, which combine NVIDIA graphics, a 90 Wh battery, a 1600‑nit OLED touchscreen and extensive ports. ASUS said, “The amount of performance you can get in a super compact and slim laptop now is really through the roof.”

The consumer line adds an updated Zenbook 14 built with Qualcomm Snapdragon X, Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen AI processors and a Ceraluminum chassis, with the company noting, “We’re bringing more value to lower price points.”

Gaming announcements feature the ROG Ally X 20th Anniversary handheld, sporting a 7.4‑inch OLED 120 Hz screen, AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme CPU and 24 GB RAM, and the flagship ROG Strix Scar 18 laptop equipped with up to RTX 5090 graphics, a 1600‑nit Mini‑LED display and advanced cooling, described as “sharper than OLED.”

ASUS also displayed new OLED monitors such as the ROG Swift PG32UCWM, which can toggle between 4K‑240 Hz and FHD‑480 Hz modes, alongside professional monitors like the ProArt PA32USD QD‑OLED panel, underscoring the company's focus on AI‑enhanced performance across all categories.
