ASUS launches ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 for GCC education
ASUS has launched the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 in the GCC region, a convertible notebook specifically designed to support students and modern educational environments. The device features a 360-degree hinge that allows it to function in laptop, tablet, tent, and display modes.
To support AI-driven curricula becoming more common in the Middle East, the laptop is powered by up to the latest Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor, which includes a built-in NPU delivering up to 17 TOPS. This hardware is intended to handle AI-powered productivity workloads, research, and content creation.
The 14-inch device is built with an aluminum chassis, weighing 1.34kg and measuring 14.9mm in thickness. It features a NanoEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and TÜV Rheinland-certified eye-care technology. Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and an HDMI 2.1 port. The device also meets MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards and offers an optional garaged stylus for handwritten notes.
