ASUS launches ExpertBook P Series AI-capable laptops

ASUS has expanded its business computing lineup with the launch of the ExpertBook P Series, which includes the P3 G1, P5 G1, and PM5 G2 models. Designed to bring corporate-grade security and durability to a broader audience—including professionals, entrepreneurs, and students—the series emphasizes artificial intelligence capabilities.

The ExpertBook PM5 G2 serves as the high-performance option in the lineup, functioning as a Copilot+ PC. It features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor, which includes a high-performance neural processing unit for on-device AI tasks. While the PM5 G2 offers a high-quality 144 Hz WQHD matte IPS display and robust connectivity including Wi-Fi 7 and USB 4, reviews note that the high TDP of the processor can lead to loud fan noise under heavy loads.
