ASUS launches ExpertBook Ultra AI‑enabled ultra‑light laptop in Asia‑Pacific

ASUS unveiled its new ExpertBook Ultra laptop at the Next Enterprise Summit 2026, targeting enterprise users across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. Marketed as “The Flagship of the Industry. Period,” the device combines an Intel Core Ultra X9‑388H (or lower‑tier X7‑358H, U7‑356H, U5‑325) processor, a dedicated 50‑TOPS neural processing unit and an Intel Arc B390 integrated GPU that ASUS claims outperforms an Nvidia RTX 4050 at 30 W.

The 14‑inch 3K tandem OLED touchscreen (120 Hz, up to 1400 nits HDR) is housed in a magnesium‑aluminium chassis weighing under 1 kg and only 10.9 mm thick. Configurations offer 16‑64 GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage and a six‑speaker Dolby Atmos sound system. ASUS emphasizes on‑device AI, allowing local large‑model inference, real‑time translation and generative tasks without cloud connectivity.

In Australia the ExpertBook Ultra starts at AU$3,399 for the Core Ultra 5 model, while the higher‑tier Core Ultra 7 version is priced around AU$6,199.
