ASUS ROG launches 2026 flagship gaming laptops and anniversary motherboard

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiled a new line of high‑performance gaming laptops in 2026. The flagship ROG Strix Scar 18 features an 18‑inch 4K Mini‑LED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. It ships in the Philippines with a price of PHP 439,995 and includes accessories such as a backpack, mouse and software subscriptions. A sibling model, the ROG Strix G18, offers a 2.5K 240 Hz screen and RTX 5080 graphics at a lower starting price of NT 93,999.

In addition, ROG introduced the Crosshair 2006 motherboard to mark the brand’s 20‑year anniversary. The board revives the original “dark hero” visual theme while supporting AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs, PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, Wi‑Fi 7, dual 10 Gb/5 Gb Ethernet, USB4 and extensive DDR5 memory and storage options.

ASUS also opened pre‑orders in India for an expanded ROG laptop portfolio, including the Zephyrus Duo with dual 16‑inch OLED 3K displays and up to RTX 5090 graphics, the Zephyrus G14 and G16, the ProArt PZ14 creator‑focused tablet‑laptop, and the budget‑oriented TUF Gaming A14. Prices range from ₹1,99,990 for the TUF A14 to over ₹6,99,990 for the top‑spec Zephyrus Duo.
