ASUS ROG celebrates 20th anniversary with new handheld and charity auction

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) division, ASUS has announced the launch of the ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld gaming device. Unveiled at Gamescom 2026, the special edition features a translucent black chassis with gold accents and a 7.4-inch OLED display capable of 1400 nits peak brightness. The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD.

In conjunction with the anniversary, ROG is hosting a global charity auction via ‘eBay for Charity’ to benefit SpecialEffect, a non-profit organization that makes video games accessible to people with physical disabilities. The auction features unique collector items, including a ROG Slash Hard-Case Luggage Edition signed by ASUS President Jonney Shih and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Other rare items include an autographed ROG 20th VVIP kit and limited edition peripherals such as the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 keyboard.
