ASUS ROG launches USB‑C 10‑Gigabit Ethernet adapter
ASUS has added a new product to its Republic of Gamers (ROG) accessory line: the ROG USB‑C10G external 10‑Gigabit Ethernet adapter. The compact device measures 85 × 32 × 19 mm, weighs 38 g and connects via a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type‑C port, delivering up to 20 Gbps raw bandwidth. It includes a short USB‑C cable and a USB‑C‑to‑USB‑A adapter for legacy ports, and supports both Type‑A and Type‑C connectors as well as Thunderbolt 3/4/5. The adapter is plug‑and‑play, requiring no drivers, and is compatible with Windows 10/11, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android devices that support the CDC‑NCM protocol. In China the unit is priced at 799 CNY, and an early listing in Norway showed a price of roughly US$1 000. The product targets gamers, creators and professionals who need high‑speed wired networking without a PCIe slot.
