Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 (2026) gaming laptop review

The Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 (2026) is a high-performance gaming laptop featuring an 18-inch screen and premium components. While it offers top-tier performance that competes with models like the MSI Raider 18 HX AI, its large size and significant weight make it less portable for use away from a desk.

Pricing for the device varies widely based on configuration. Entry-level models found on third-party sites like Newegg start at approximately $3,239, featuring an Intel Ultra 9 275HX CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU. High-end configurations can reach nearly $6,000, equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD.
