ASUS Republic of Gamers has introduced the ROG Strix SCAR 18, its most powerful gaming laptop to date. The device can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 mobile GPU, delivering a maximum sustained system power of 320 W. It features the first 18‑inch mini‑LED laptop panel, offering 4K resolution at a 240 Hz refresh rate and the ROG Nebula ELMB HDR display.

The Strix SCAR 18 uses a new ROG Intelligent Cooling system with an extended vapor chamber, layered radiator design, and enhanced airflow to keep temperatures up to 5 °C lower than the previous generation. The chassis allows tool‑free upgrades, targeting gamers, content creators, and AI developers who need top‑tier performance for demanding AAA titles, 3D/video workloads, and advanced AI tasks.
