ASUS unveils 420 Hz pro‑eSports monitor and 4K OLED dual‑Hz display

ASUS added two 24.5‑inch 420 Hz IPS gaming monitors to its ROG Strix line, the XG259QNSR Ace in black and the XG259QNSR‑W Ace in white. Both use a fast IPS panel with 1080p resolution, 1 ms GtG (0.3 ms minimum) response time, HDR400, 115% sRGB and 90% DCI‑P3 colour coverage, AI‑driven visual features and a range of ports including DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2 and audio jack. Pricing and launch dates have not been disclosed.

ASUS also announced the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM, a 26.5‑inch tandem‑OLED gaming monitor with an RGB sub‑pixel layout. It delivers 4K resolution at up to 240 Hz and can switch to Full HD at 480 Hz, offering 10‑bit colour, 0.03 ms response, 99% DCI‑P3 coverage, Dolby Vision HDR and a True‑Black certification. The panel includes DisplayPort 2.1, a 90 W USB‑C PD port, HDMI 2.1 and a sensor to mitigate burn‑in risk. The model is slated for a Q3 2026 release in Germany with an expected price around €1,250.
