ASUS unveils $699 4K QD‑OLED ProArt monitor and triple‑resolution ROG gaming display

ASUS introduced the ProArt PA279CDV, a 26.5‑inch 4K QD‑OLED monitor priced at $699. It offers up to 120 Hz refresh, 99 % DCI‑P3 colour coverage, 100 % sRGB and Rec. 709, Delta E < 1.5 colour accuracy and a peak brightness of 1 000 nits on 3 % of the panel. Connectivity includes USB‑C with 96 W Power Delivery and HDMI 2.0. A larger 31.5‑inch PA329CDV model is slated for release in September.

In parallel, ASUS announced the ROG Strix XG27UCMG gaming monitor, a 27‑inch Fast‑IPS panel that can switch between three native resolutions: 4K at 240 Hz, QHD at 400 Hz and Full‑HD at 488 Hz, with a 0.3 ms response time and G‑Sync support. The unit will become available on 31 July 2026 in China. Additional ROG models with varying specifications and price points were also detailed, expanding ASUS’s high‑performance display portfolio.
