ASUS ROG unveils new esports hardware and OLED monitors at Gamescom 2026
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled an extensive lineup of new gaming hardware and peripherals at Gamescom 2026, with a heavy focus on high-performance esports equipment.
A centerpiece of the announcement is the Ace collection of 24.5-inch OLED monitors. This includes the ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, which features a Tandem WOLED panel with a 720Hz refresh rate and a 0.02ms response time. It has been selected as the official monitor for the 2026 PGL CS2 Major. Other models in the series include the ROG Strix OLED XG259QDPG Ace (560Hz QD-OLED) and the ROG Strix OLED XG259QDNS Ace (360Hz QD-OLED).
The new hardware also features a “Position Sensor” on the monitor stands to help players replicate their exact height and tilt settings. Other peripheral releases include the ROG Gladius IV Ace, a 56g ergonomic gaming mouse with an AimPoint Pro 65K sensor, the ROG Spatha X 65K wireless MMO mouse, and the ROG Raikiri II Pro controller.
Additionally, ASUS introduced networking advancements with the ROG Rapture GT-BN98 Wi-Fi 8 gaming router and showcased commemorative “Edition 20” hardware, including flagship motherboards and high-power graphics cards, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand.
