ASUS unveils ProArt AI-focused PCs at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, ASUS unveiled a new lineup of ProArt computers—including the P16 and P14 laptops and the GR1X mini PC—specifically engineered for local execution of complex artificial intelligence workloads. These devices utilize the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform, which integrates Blackwell-based GPUs with up to 6,144 CUDA cores and NVIDIA Grace CPUs to achieve up to 1 petaflop of AI performance.

By shifting computational power from the cloud to the device, ASUS aims to reduce reliance on internet connectivity and subscription-based cloud services. The hardware is capable of running large language models with up to 120 billion parameters, processing 3D scenes exceeding 90 GB, and generating 4K AI video content. The ProArt P16 and P14 feature ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays, with the P14 noted as the lightest ProArt laptop to date.

In addition to hardware, ASUS introduced local AI tools such as MuseTree for generative image creation and StoryCube for intelligent organization, designed to keep sensitive data and workflows on the device rather than in the cloud.
