ASUS unveils ProArt AI-powered laptops and desktops with NVIDIA RTX Spark
ASUS has announced a new lineup of ProArt computers, including the P16 and P14 laptops and the ProArt GR1X mini desktop, all powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark technology. These devices are designed to provide high-performance, local AI computing capabilities for creators, developers, and gamers.
The RTX Spark superchip architecture features an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 cores and an NVIDIA Grace CPU with up to 20 cores. Utilizing NVIDIA NVLink-C2C chip-to-chip interconnect and fifth-generation Tensor Cores, the platform can deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of high-bandwidth unified memory.
By enabling local AI workloads, the technology aims to reduce reliance on cloud-based processing. This approach offers advantages such as predictable costs by avoiding pay-per-use cloud fees, enhanced data privacy by keeping assets on the device, and the ability to use AI models while offline.
