Asus unveils ROG Strix LC IV AIO water‑cooler with cable‑free Q‑Connector and 5‑inch display

At Computex 2026 in Taipei, Asus displayed the ROG Strix LC IV 360 mm AIO liquid‑cooler, the first productized version of its “wire‑free” water‑cooling concept. The cooler uses a rear‑mounted Q‑Connector that routes power, control signals and LCD data through a single hidden cable, eliminating the four external wires normally required for the pump, fans and ARGB lighting. It incorporates a 5.08‑inch IPS LCD screen that serves as an InfoHub for system monitoring.

The unit supports Intel LGA 1851, LGA 1700 and AMD AM5, AM4 sockets, houses three 120 mm fans, and features a redesigned pump that Asus claims delivers up to 10 % higher cooling performance while reducing noise by about 3 dB. Two models are offered: the standard LC IV with 400 mm tubing and a shorter‑tube SLC IV variant for tighter builds. The series has become available in Italy following the announcement.

The launch follows a 2025 concept showcase by Asus that introduced the wireless water‑cooling idea, now refined into a production‑ready product.
