ASUS launches ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS ultrawide monitor and XG129C touchscreen

ASUS Republic of Gamers announced two new gaming displays for the DACH market. The flagship ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS is a 34‑inch 1800R curved RGB‑Tandem QD‑OLED panel with a 3440 × 1440 resolution, 280 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms gray‑to‑gray response, 99 % DCI‑P3 coverage, 10‑bit colour, DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification and peak brightness of 1300 nits. It features a new BlackShield anti‑scratch film, OLED Care Pro with a Neo Proximity Sensor that blanks the screen when the user steps away, and adaptive‑sync support for both NVIDIA G‑SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Connectivity includes DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB‑C with 15 W PD, two USB‑3.2 Gen 1 Type‑A ports and a headphone jack.

The companion ROG Strix XG129C is a 12.3‑inch IPS touchscreen with a 24:9 aspect ratio (1920 × 720), 75 Hz refresh, 10‑point capacitive touch, 125 % sRGB and 90 % DCI‑P3 colour gamuts, and a built‑in kick‑stand. It is positioned as a secondary display for system monitoring, streaming controls and productivity, and ships with a one‑year AIDA64 Extreme subscription and ROG SensorPanel layouts. Pricing is approximately $809 (≈ € 730) for the XG34WCDMS and $211 (≈ € 190) for the XG129C, with availability in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
