ASUS expands laptop lineup with new Intel and AMD models

The high-end laptop market is seeing a shift toward "super notebooks" featuring 18-inch displays. These devices aim to rival desktop performance by utilizing larger chassis to accommodate advanced cooling systems, high-performance components like NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs, and latest-generation Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen processors. While catering to gamers and professionals such as video editors and architects, these models face trade-offs in weight and battery life.

In the consumer segment, ASUS has introduced several new models. In Brazil, the Vivobook 15 has debuted as the first notebook to feature the Intel Core Series 3 processors, including the Core 3 304, Core 5 320, and Core 7 350, offering AI-accelerated features via an integrated NPU.

Additionally, a new configuration of the Vivobook Pro 16 has been announced, featuring an AMD Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor. This variant aims for better affordability by reducing RAM to 16 GB and storage to 512 GB, while maintaining the high-quality 16-inch OLED display and 80 Wh battery.
