Asvel and Olympiacos navigate significant EuroLeague roster changes

French basketball club Asvel is undergoing significant roster changes following financial instability and the withdrawal of investors. Center Danijel Tajs expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of communication from Toni Parker regarding the collapse of the club's original project, which was intended to build a large EuroLeague-caliber roster. Following the breakdown of those plans, Tajs signed a two-year deal with Maccabi.

To bolster the squad, Asvel has officially signed guard Myles Calle from Barcelona. Calle joins a list of seven new signings for the team led by Parker. Meanwhile, in Greece, Olympiacos is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign Nikolaos Plotas, the former top young player in the Greek league, potentially as a replacement for Thomas Walkup.
